I WIN! The End of the Tiff WIth Frank

^.^

Quite frankly, this is an entry that is a long time coming, and to bring you all up to
speed, I must do a bit of background for you...

Within the first few blog entries of my blog, I told you about Frank, who was my
room-mate at that time, and being a Liberal, he hated conservative stars such
as Ann Coulter, whom if he had his way, would meet a mysterious death somewhere,
whereas I always felt that a person should be allowed to speak their arguments,
even if you disagreed with them.

Now, as you may or may not know, depending on what I said about Frank in those
earlier entries, Frank works at the local talk radio station, KOWB, heard in the Laramie
WY area at 1290 AM. KOWB's morning and afternoon programming consists of
three hours of Rush Limbaugh and three hours of Sean Hannity before going to
sports, so Frank has felt that he works in a hostile environment of sorts.

More recently, I have written a couple of emails to Frank, and the station manager
of KOWB when Frank has acted in ways that I consider un-professional, such as
referring to program snippets by conservatives such as Mike Hucklebee by things
other than their name, or making derisive remarks about Rush Limabugh on the
air.

Now, while Frank has as much right to free speech as the next person, there are limits,
for business practices and such, and talking down at the programming on the radio
station you work for, is one of those things that should best be left off the air. Advertisers
don't want people turning off the station in anger over comments that the station
announcer makes.

So, I sent two emails to Frank and the station manager about the remarks, and considered
the matter closed.

Fast-forward to yesterday, August 8, 2009. I was eating at a chinese buffet when Frank walked
in the door. He looked very thin, and it seems as though he's not been having fun recently.
However, any disagreements I've had in the past with him were the furthest from my mind as
I got up and went over to him. After all, KOWB has a new station announcer in the morning, and
I have been wondering what the deal was. So I went over to Frank, greeting him with "Hey Frank,
how are you doing", or some such thing. He responded with: "I don't want to be associated with you."

I went back to my friends and continued to eat. Frank however, kinda stormed around looking for a
seat, then mumbled to the waiter that he'd be back later, and then he stormed out, slamming the
door behind him. He got in his car, and drove off very quickly. He made such a scene, that it got
comments from not only my two friends, but other patrons of the restaurant, who thought that
Frank acted very rudely.

The idea that I am able to drive Frank from the scene and make him so upset was absolutely
fabulous to me. Ok, so I am small a bit, but it appears that I have made an impact on him. I'm
not sure why he still feels as he does, and he spoiled the perfect situation to have a quick
conversation on it. Despite him being a Liberalista Obummer Kool-ade drinker, I don't dislike
the man personally, and in fact, seeing his condition, I am a bit concerned for his welfare.

And his guy won the 2008 election! He should be upbeat and happy. Rush Limbaugh, Sean
Hannity, and local conservatives such as myself should be relagated to whining about the
bad smell of the bathrooms for the next four years as far as the Liberalistas such as Frank
are concerned, but as anyone can see from the way that Liberalistas from the President and
his administration on down are reacting to conservative opposition to Liberalista policies,
the current administration and its supporters can not seem to tolerate an opposing voice.

Even if that voice is simply saying HELLO.
